Read emails in Foreign Languages?

Hello,

  I have started getting emails in Russian.  For some reason, I cannot read them - it comes up as garbage instead of Cyrillic.  I can, however compose and send Russian emails from my Windows machine by choosing "RUS" at the bottom of the Windows screen.

  How can I configure Roundcube to display Russian messages - when they come in?  I do NOT want to change the UI to Russian, just want to be able to display Russian messages.

  I have a similar problem with Spanish - but that's not so much an issue, because that language mostly uses the same alphabet as English.  Just the letters with accents and their special N look funny.

May I ask are you an end user or are you responsible for your Roundcube installation? You are describing an encoding issue. I think this could be to do with a flaw in the processing of the message or it could be to do with server issue or a poorly formatted email. If you are are not an end user are you able to provide an (anonymised) sample message for testing? Also can you give some details about the your environment such as PHP version, installed PHP extensions and Roundcube version?
