Upgrading webmail

Ok I have a big problem with how webmail is upgraded.. apparently the network admin who is in charge of upgrading the webmail interface, says that we can't upgrade because of the method used.

We have completely customized everything. We have some source code changes, and add-in's installed, and also we changed all the images. We added 2 custom pages with links from personal settings.

I dont care about small changes, but doing ALL this over again would be rediculous.

Ignoring source code changes, how can I upgrade without losing my templates/images/add-ins?

you can't really, there are so many changes made that applying old templates may not work for the new changes, so basically you have todo a clean install and apply all the templates from scratch. Sorry!
