CALDAV Calender adding failed

Hi,
I installed CALDAV/Calendar from following URL https://github.com/arau912/rcmcaldav. Calendar works fine
and it too has the option Add caldav sources. When I try to import a caldav Calender from a source which
has a self-signed certificate it fails with "CALDAV source could not be added and the debug log is attached.

I tried following setting in the calendar config.inc.php "$config['ssl_noverify'] = true;", without success.

Is there any setting to disable verification of SSL certificates for caldav?
